This full-scale model of the Mars Exploration Rover was
built
by Cornell University students. It is made of aluminum, plexiglass and
plywood. When fully deployed it measures more than 7 feet across and
almost five feet high.
The rover model is on permanent display at the Smithsonian Institution's
National Air and Space Museum
in Washington, D.C.
